Our Pincher Creek location is currently looking for dedicated and skilled ICF Operators to join our team. This role is supported by our experienced Senior Operators, aimed at ensuring smooth operation processes and contributing to a positive team culture. We are currently hiring for our day-shift operators, however may also accept applications for night shift (overnight) Operators. If you're interested in night shift, please let us know! Role Overview: The ICF Operator is a vital member of our manufacturing team, responsible for the efficient operation of our ICF manufacturing machines. This role includes daily machine operation, adherence to quality control processes, teamwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will embrace our company values, contribute to a positive team culture, and continuously seek to improve skills and processes. Duties and Responsibilities: - Adhere to company and personal values, including punctuality, designated smoking areas, and timely lunch breaks. - Operate ICF manufacturing machines, including preheat, cycle, breakdowns, and cooldown processes, ensuring acceptable pace and quality. - Accurately fill out production sheets daily, documenting amounts, issues, products, and times. - Maintain quality control by appropriately labeling products with SuperForm and QAI stickers. - Participate in machine breakdown response and weekly maintenance with guidance from Senior Operators. - Ensure a clean work environment through daily clean-up tasks and adherence to the 5S methodology. - Continuously learn and develop new skills based on structured training and guidance. Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Robust communication and teamwork skills. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. - Must be physically able to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Competencies Required: - Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high-quality standards and notice minor discrepancies that could affect product quality. - Teamwork and Collaboration: Willingness to support team members and contribute positively to the team culture. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues quickly and seek assistance when necessary to maintain machine operation. - Adaptability: Openness to learning new skills and adapting to changing production needs. - Safety Mindset: Demonstrates a proactive safety mindset by consistently identifying hazards, following safe work practices, and taking responsibility for protecting their own safety and the safety of others.
