Housekeeping Room Attendant (Lethbridge)

The Express Lodging group of hotels including the Best Western Plus Service Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn Express Lethbridge SE are now accepting applications for the position of Housekeeping Room Attendant. Both positions will be required to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, baths and public spaces. Promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Enters and prepares the room for cleaning. - Makes bed. - Dusts the room and furniture. - Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies. - Cleans the bathroom. - Cleans the closet. - Vacuums and racks the carpet. - Checks and secures the rooms. - Replenish amenities according to the operational standards. - Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. cots, kennels - Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests - Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, deep cleaning etc.) as required - Cleans guest bathroom/bed room/floor corridor - Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of work area. - Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to them - Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning - Responsible for following the standard operating procedures - Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score Part-time/Full-time hours: 15-40 per week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour Benefits: - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off Experience: - housekeeping: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjlc0
