Class 1 Driver Macleod (Fort Macleod)

Select is partnering with our client to recruit a reliable and experienced Class 1 Delivery Driver to handle deliveries and pickups of building materials in Fort Macleod and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating step-deck trailers, enjoys time on the road, and takes pride in safe and productive driving. What’s in it for You? Competitive hourly wage with overtime opportunities Benefits after 3 months Steady work with a mix of local and occasional longer trips Compensation & Hours: The rate of pay will be $28–$30/hr, depending on experience Full time position Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays required Occasional overnight trips may be required Position Summary: Deliver and pick up materials safely and on time Operate Class 1 vehicles, including step-deck trailers when required Secure loads and ensure compliance with safety regulations Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Communicate with dispatch and customers as needed Represent the company professionally at job sites and on the road Required Qualifications: Valid Class 1 driver’s license Previous experience in delivery or transportation roles Robust understanding of load securement and safety practices Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays and overnight trips Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Robust communication and customer service skill Bonus Points For: Experience operating step-deck trailers Experience delivering construction or building materials Familiarity with local and regional routes Right People.
