Your Day to Day: - Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic - Provide final check in a team-based workflow environment and also being involved in the quality assurance team - Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for delivery - Accept verbal prescriptions from prescribing authorities - Perform the final check of prepared prescriptions - Working with advanced pharmacy software and automation technologies to enhance patient safety - Clinical service support and leadership opportunities What You Bring to The Team: - Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) - Experience working as a Registered Pharmacy Technician strongly preferred - Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems is a strong asset - Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred - Demonstrated computer or word processing skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work effectively under pressure - Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Ability to manage priorities in a time sensitive workplace; possesses strong organizational skills - Ability to benefit from coaching and instruction for quality processes; comfort with and accepting of constructive feedback Qualities for Success: - Ability to manage changing priorities - Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team - Customer service oriented - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Strong attention to detail - Strong organizational and time-management skills Location: This is an on-site role located at 3287 32 St N Lethbridge, AB and follows a five-day work week.
