We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB. We are currently looking to hire the following positions in our Forma Steel facility in Fort Macleod. Role: Machine Operator Slitter Area Trim Area Roll Former Area Additionally we are looking to fill the following machine operator role for our Lethbridge Location: Trim Area Please note - the successful candidate for the Lethbridge role may be required to report to work at the Fort Macleod Location as needed Job Type: Full time Shift: 6:00a.m.-2:30p.m Monday-Friday (day shift) 2:00p.m.-12:30am Monday-Thursday (afternoon shift) At Forma Steel, our Core Values are at the heart of everything we do. Guide steel into the processing areas. Operate machinery in a safe and productive manner. Perform start up, cleaning, and shut down procedures on production equipment. Lift and move products throughout the assembly and production process. Complete any other work assigned by supervisor/lead hand. Abide with all Health and safety practices and requirements. Our Machine Operators Have: Ability to and/or experience operating manufacturing equipment. Protected work mindset and commitment to safety. Ability to read and understand production drawings. Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English. Team mentality and ability to work well with others. Physical capability to perform their job safely (push, pull lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time). Capability of working in a manufacturing environment.
