Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in
Lévis, Quebec fo r a temporary welder internship on the evening shift.
The intern assists the team of welders, mainly in the repair of parts. He develops his technical skills by applying welding processes under supervision, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
What you’re responsible for:
Preparing the parts to be welded as well as the necessary materials for welding work; Performing basic welding (semi-automatic or arc); Checking the quality of the welds carried out; Cutting materials according to the appropriate method; Completing work orders by recording the tasks performed and the materials used;Ensuring proper use and functioning of the company's equipment; Participating in the maintenance of the workshop and equipment; Working safely and in compliance with OHS policies and company procedures; Performing any other related tasks
Qualifications
To join our team:
Be enrolled in a DEP in welding; or a combination of studies/experiences deemed equivalent Excellent physical condition Meticulous and methodical Be diligent and conscientious Good manual dexterity
Additional Information
Work schedule: evening
40 hours/week
Type of employment: temporary, with possibility of hire after internship
