Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team, and ensure smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on comprehensive dental services, including orthodontics and pediatrics. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with CAD technology, is highly valued. The Dental Assistant Level II will play a vital role in assisting with procedures, managing patient flow, and maintaining clinical excellence. Responsibilities - Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric treatments - Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available - Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required - Manage patient records accurately using Epic and Dentrix software systems - Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients - Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries, similar to a dental receptionist role - Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards - Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans - Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical workplace Qualifications - Certification or experience in dental assisting is required; additional training in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus - Proficiency with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry - Experience with CAD systems for digital impressions or restorations is advantageous - Strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control, and safety protocols - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in patient management is beneficial but not mandatory This position offers an engaging work setting dedicated to providing high-quality dental care.
