APPLY NOW YOUR ROLE As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will act as a key prevention resource on construction sites and support teams in the application of health and safety standards and best practices. Specifically, your main responsibilities will include: - Maintaining a strong field presence and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements on construction sites. - Conducting inspections, identifying hazards and recommending corrective measures. - Participating in investigations and analyses of incidents, accidents and near misses. - Leading HSE meetings, safety orientations and awareness activities. - Supporting managers and workers in the application of procedures, programs and regulatory requirements. - Preparing reports, follow-ups and documentation related to health and safety. - Contributing to the development and maintenance of a proactive and engaging safety culture. - CNESST accreditation required; - Bilingualism is an asset - Construction sites located in James Bay, in Cree communities - Working on flexible rotations - Transport to the site, accommodation and cutlery provided Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2olmaf
