New/Used Car Merchandiser (Orléans)

Job Title: New & Used Car Merchandiser – Hyundai Dealership About the Role The Current & Used Car Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring every vehicle new or pre‑owned is presented, priced, photographed, and marketed to maximize visibility, customer engagement, and retail velocity. This role directly impacts inventory turn, online lead quality, and the overall customer experience on the lot and across digital channels. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Merchandising & Presentation - Ensure all new and used vehicles are clean, staged, and lot‑ready within defined timelines. - Park, organize, and maintain the lot layout to maximize visibility and customer flow. - Maintain consistent brand‑standard presentation across all vehicles. Online Listing & Digital Merchandising - Photograph all vehicles using dealership standards (20–40 photos per unit, consistent angles, clean backgrounds). - Capture and upload walk‑around videos when required. - Write accurate, compelling vehicle descriptions highlighting key features, packages, and value drivers. - Ensure all listings are complete and live across all platforms (AutoTrader, CarGurus, Marketplace, etc.). Inventory Coordination - Work with the sales management team to prioritize vehicles for reconditioning and front-line readiness. - Track vehicles through the recon process and update statuses daily. - Verify VIN, mileage, equipment, and condition accuracy in inventory systems. - Assist with dealer trades, lot transfers, and vehicle movement as needed. Pricing & Market Alignment - Monitor aged inventory tags and ensure vehicles are merchandised according to store strategy. - Flag vehicles needing refreshed photos, descriptions, or repositioning. Quality Control & Compliance - Inspect vehicles for damage, missing equipment, or presentation issues and report immediately. - Ensure all compliance items (OMVIC, safety disclosures, etc.) are properly displayed. - Maintain a clean, organized lot that reflects Hyundai brand standards. Skills & Qualifications - Previous dealership, automotive, or merchandising experience preferred. - Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation. - Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. - Ability to move vehicles safely and confidently (valid G driver’s license required). - Basic photography and digital content skills are an asset. - Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment. - Familiarity with inventory tools (vAuto, Homenet, Basic websites etc.) is an advantage.
