Procurement Buyer at CDCI, Lévis

CDCI is seeking a skilled Buyer to manage procurement processes and supplier relations efficiently. Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries while liaising with vendors and internal departments.

As a Buyer, you will uphold CDCI’s procurement guidelines while collaborating with suppliers to secure optimal materials and services for the shipyard. With two to five years of experience required, your role will focus on gathering technical information, reviewing bids, and negotiating terms for purchased goods. You’ll also facilitate communication among engineering, production, and planning teams to analyze proposals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:• Gather technical details to obtain competitive pricing • Select suppliers based on technical specifications • Review and assess bids for compliance • Issue purchase orders after necessary approvals • Collaborate with departments to analyze proposals

Requirements:• College diploma or relevant training in procurement • 2-5 years of buyer experience • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office • Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) • Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
