DevOps Engineer (AI) - Affinity (La Pocatière)

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and evolve the infrastructure behind its flagship EMR platform. You’ll own Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, enabling teams to ship quickly and reliably. The ideal candidate is fluent in AI-first development, using AI tools and agentic workflows as a core part of their process. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments. Leverage AI coding tools and agentic workflows as a core part of your work to accelerate infrastructure automation, pipeline development, and operational problem solving. Ensure environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Ensure system health visibility and drive reliability improvements through data, not guesswork. Embed security practices into infrastructure and pipelines. Support compliance requirements relevant to healthcare data across multiple jurisdictions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. 5+ years of industry experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles. Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, cluster management). Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar). Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or Go). Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable). Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and container security. Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
