Quantum Passivhaus is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to support our expanding portfolio of high-performance residential, commercial, and deep energy retrofit projects. Position Summary Quantum is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our production team in Minden. In this role, you will operate specialized machinery and assist with assembly tasks to produce wood and framing components. This position is ideal for someone seeking long-term growth in a professional manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS&BENEFITS Experience

Physically able to stand for long periods and lift materials in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Willingness to learn multiple machines and rotate through different positions

Preferred: WHMIS, Forklift, or First Aid certifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate assigned machinery and manufacturing equipment

Assist with flip table operations and other technical equipment as needed

Complete production tasks efficiently with minimal supervision as skills develop

Maintain machines, tools, and equipment in safe working condition

Material Handling&Quality Control

Load, unload, and organize raw materials and finished components for production

Safely store materials and support basic inventory management

Inspect products to ensure they meet project specifications

Report any quality or equipment issues promptly to the Production Supervisor

Safety&Teamwork

Follow OHSA regulations and adhere to all safe operating procedures

Participate in WHMIS and safety training; always wear required PPE

Practice safe lifting techniques and ergonomic standards

Communicate proactively with leadership regarding workflow and production needs

Learning&Development

Take initiative to learn machinery, framing techniques, and construction processes

Seek guidance from experienced team members to build skills and knowledge

Stable, year-round work inside a heated shop

Skill development and growth opportunities as you gain experience

Supportive team environment focused on quality and safety
