Apprentice Arborist/Student (Kinmount)

Job Description Triple T Tree Care is looking to hire an Apprentice Arborist / Student with hands-on experience who is serious about building a career in the tree industry. You’ll be working directly with experienced climbers on a variety of residential and rural jobs including removals, pruning, and storm work. This is not an entry-level “no experience” position — we’re looking for someone who already understands the basics and wants to grow. What You’ll Be Doing - Assisting on tree removals and pruning operations - Running ropes and managing rigging from the ground - Operating chainsaws safely and efficiently - Chipping brush and maintaining clean job sites - Supporting climbers and crew throughout the day - Learning advanced climbing and rigging over time Requirements (Must Have) - Minimum 1 year of experience in tree work OR currently enrolled in an arboriculture program - Chainsaw experience (comfortable running a saw on the ground) - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn - Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions - Reliable and shows up on time - Ability to take direction and work as part of a team Assets (Nice to Have) - Valid driver’s license - Experience with rigging or climbing - Landscaping or outdoor labor background What You’ll Get - $22–$28/hour (based on experience) - Boot allowance ($200) - Consistent hours (30–44 hours/week + overtime opportunities) - Opportunity to move into a climbing role - Work on a wide range of jobs (small to large removals) Why Work With Us - Growing company with room to advance - Hands-on learning every day - Tight, hardworking crew - Variety of work — not the same job every day Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: - Flexible schedule Licence/Certification: - Drivers Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oktes
