Experienced Line Cook / Sous Chef Haliburton County

Sir Sam’s Inn & WaterSpa is a four-season adults-only destination resort located in Ontario’s Haliburton Highlands. While sharing a similar name and local history within the area, Sir Sam’s Inn & Spa operates independently from Sir Sam’s Ski & Ride. Our property features boutique accommodations, seasonal resort dining, spa and wellness experiences, and warm lakeside hospitality in a relaxed and professional resort setting. We are currently looking for robust Line Cooks to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented kitchen environment focused on teamwork, professionalism, consistency, and creating memorable guest experiences through quality food and hospitality. Our culinary operation focuses primarily on breakfast and dinner service, with lunch service during busy seasons. Menus are developed within a structured team environment with opportunities for seasonal input and creativity. Our kitchen culture emphasizes teamwork, communication, professionalism, and consistency within a supportive resort environment. The ideal candidate may come from a robust line cook background, or be a sous chef or chef looking for a more balanced resort hospitality atmosphere and pace of life. Leadership opportunities may develop depending on experience and long-term fit within the team.
