Duties - Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu standards - Cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and timely delivery - Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently - Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices - Support menu planning by assisting with ingredient prep and portioning for service - Help with catering orders and special event setups as needed - Keep workstations organized and stocked to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Qualifications - Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable - Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards - Experience working in restaurants or food service environments demonstrating solid kitchen skills - Knowledge of culinary practices including knife skills, meal preparation, and food safety regulations - Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and serving customers - Prior experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us if you’re eager to contribute to a lively kitchen environment where your skills will be valued!
