Salary $18.20 per hour, 40 hours per week.

Terms of Employment Permanent, full time. Shifts include night, day, and weekend.

Education&Experience Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present breakfast items forà la carte and/or buffet service according to recipes and standards.

Follow all recipes and plating procedures consistently.

Complete daily prep according to par levels and notify supervisor of shortages.

Assist with banquet and group breakfast preparation as required.

Maintain full knowledge of menu items; participate in daily features and promotions.

Ensure proper food rotation (FIFO), labeling, and dating of all products.

Receive and properly store deliveries to minimize waste and spoilage.

Operate and understand POS system, expediting, and troubleshooting.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, counters, shelves, and work areas.

Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and Health&Safety regulations.

Assist Sous Chef in training and developing new team members.

Foster a cooperative team environment within the kitchen and hotel departments.

Maintain a neat, professional appearance (clean uniform, utility hat or hair net, proper work shoes).

Attend staff meetings as required.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
