Position Overview The Pharmacist I is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. The Pharmacist I manages medication therapy and intervenes as required to optimize patient outcomes. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of a Pharmacy program or recognized equivalent.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Collaborative experience as part of a multi-disciplinary patient care team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous hospital experience.
Completion of an accredited hospital residency/Pharm D program.
Member of Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
Familiarity with Connect Care.
