Description
Who We Are PermaCorp is a proudly Canadian metal fabrication business serving commercial, residential, and industrial markets across North America. With operations spanning multiple provinces and a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and practical problem‑solving, we specialize in delivering custom railing, architectural, and fabricated metal solutions that support a wide range of projects and clients. At our core, we are a hands‑on, growth‑focused organization built on hard work, accountability, and continuous improvement. Our teams include skilled tradespeople, production leaders, technical experts, and business professionals who work together to get the job done right. As we continue to scale, we are focused on building the systems, leadership, and people practices that will support sustainable long‑term growth while staying true to the operational excellence that defines our business. The Opportunity As we scale, we need a proven construction leader to own our project delivery process end‑to‑end – from submittal through installation and new build oversight – and build the systems that let us grow without everything escalating to the executive team. You will lead a team of five Project Managers across two provinces, provide oversight on current build construction projects, drive adoption and enforcement of our project management platform (Wrike), and be the primary point of accountability for on‑time, on‑budget delivery. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who has done it before, knows what good looks like, and is ready to build the process infrastructure for the next phase of growth. What You’ll Own Team Leadership Day‑to‑day leadership and performance management of Project Managers PM quality control – reviewing active projects, catching issues early, and ensuring best practices are followed consistently Coaching PMs on submittals, scheduling, site coordination, and client communication Building a culture of accountability across a geographically dispersed team Process & Systems Own and enforce the end‑to‑end project delivery process – from submittal receipt through installation and closeout Drive full adoption of Wrike across the PM team; refine the existing framework and ensure it is actually used Build guardrails and workflow so that submittals, RFIs, and day‑to‑day issues are handled at the right level – not escalated unnecessarily Standardize how projects are managed across both provinces so onboarding a new PM is fast and consistent Financial & Budget Management Spearhead the implementation of project budgets across all active and future projects Work with leadership to build a budgeting framework aligned with our updated pricing model Track project‑level financial performance and flag variances early Identify cost‑saving opportunities across installation, subcontractor, and delivery spend New Build Oversight Provide construction oversight on new build projects from award through to completion Monitor project milestones, site progress, and delivery schedules against plan Coordinate between internal teams, general contractors, and trade partners on active new builds Identify and flag construction risks early – before they become schedule or cost issues Ensure new build projects meet quality standards and contractual requirements at each stage Field & Subcontractor Oversight Oversee subcontractor performance and manage relationships with install companies Support the internal installation team – improve efficiency and resolve on‑site issues before they escalate Be the escalation point for field issues that PMs cannot resolve independently Travel to Alberta and Ontario job sites as required What Success Looks Like in Year One Submittals and day‑to‑day project issues are handled without reaching the VP of Operations All PMs are working within a consistent, documented process – and new PMs can be onboarded quickly Wrike is enforced and producing meaningful data on project status, delivery timelines, and issues Project budgets are built and tracked across active projects New build projects are progressing on schedule with clear visibility at every stage You know what is happening on every job site without being asked #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2374
