The role includes layout review of manuals before delivery, performing language reviews on outputs such as Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and PDFs, and authoring changes in XML technical manuals within budget and deadlines. Required Qualifications - University degree, honours or higher, in a French language degree, preferably French translation or related field - Excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills - Comfortable working independently in a quick‑paced team environment - Willingness to learn technical skills as part of a highly skilled team - Openness to learn something new every day Preferred Qualifications - Experience in English editing, French editing, copy editing, proofreading or related discipline - Working knowledge of an additional language, preferably Spanish or Arabic - English editing certification from an accredited organization - Knowledge of XML or other markup languages - Experience working within a content management system - Familiarity with military standards - Experience in a technical field such as engineering or automotive industry Security Requirement All candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance to secret level.
