AECOM's Architectural Business unitBuildings Canada (BP Canada) is actively seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for immediate employment. BP Canada is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture all the buildings engineering disciplines landscape architecture urban planning urban design economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include although not limited to: Transit and Municipal Commercial and Institutional projects Justice Education and Government. The position supports a range of infrastructure projects in the Water & Wastewater Transportation Buildings and Sustainability sectors with a focus on quality innovation and efficient project delivery. Independently perform and lead detailed electrical design and analysis across various infrastructure sectors. Prepare and review technical specifications reports calculations and construction drawings. Propose design approaches and solve advanced engineering problems using in-depth knowledge and prior experience. Lead and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and quality delivery. Conduct field investigations condition assessments and construction-phase support. Manage portions of projects including budget schedule and deliverables. Serve as a mentor and technical guide to junior engineers EITs and technicians. Actively contribute to project planning proposal writing and client interactions. Maintain knowledge of evolving technologies codes and practices to support technical leadership. Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Six (6) years of experience as or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education 5 years of experience in electrical engineering after receiving the . Proven experience across Water & Wastewater Transportation Buildings and Sustainability sectors. Advanced proficiency in design and analysis software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit ETAP SKM). Strong leadership project management and client communication skills. Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex technical tasks and mentor others. Experience delivering projects from concept through construction support phases. Ability to lead QA/QC reviews and enforce quality standards. Relocation is not available for this position.
