Description
Contribute to the Faculty of Information and Media Studies by teaching the course on Indigenizing and Decolonizing Library and Information Science. This in-person role requires expertise in LIS and effective engagement with students.

The Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western is looking for qualified candidates to teach GRADLIS 9370 001. Applicants should possess a PhD or be nearing completion, along with relevant qualified qualifications and university teaching experience. Key responsibilities include course development, examination marking, and student assessment.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver course content effectively • Set and mark examinations for students • Assess academic work and report grades • Undertake required training and comply with policies • Engage with students in a meaningful way

Requirements: • PhD or nearing completion in a relevant field • Master of Library and Information Science or equivalent • Proven record of successful university-level teaching • Fluent written and oral communication skills • Willingness to adapt to course delivery changes
