Construction Labourer (London)

Assist with demolition, site preparation, clean-up, and painting tasks on residential construction projects. The role involves physical labour, safe operation of tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work setting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform demolition work using hand and power tools - Remove drywall, flooring, concrete, wood, and other building materials - Load, unload, and dispose of construction debris and waste - Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, patching, and cleaning - Apply paint, primer, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment - Assist with masking, taping, and protecting surfaces before painting - Operate basic construction and demolition equipment when trained - Maintain clean and organized work areas - Follow workplace health and safety regulations and PPE requirements - Assist Painters, and equipment operators as needed QUALIFICATION: - Ability to perform physically demanding labour - Experience with demolition, construction, or painting work preferred - Familiarity with hand and power tools - Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation - Strong attention to detail and safety practices - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Reliable, punctual, and hardworking - WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other safety certifications are assets Pay: $17.22-$19.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otp8i
