Arvin Sango Canada Inc. (ASCI) is an automotive component manufacturer, specializing in vehicle exhaust systems and welded structural components. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Control Supervisor to join our team. As the Production Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production control operations, ensuring that production demands are met and aligned with company and customer requirements. Your attention to detail, knowledge of production control processes, and leadership abilities will be essential in this role. Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of PC operations, including shipping, receiving, cycle counting, discrepancy reconciliation, and general inventory control. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of all production control processes and make improvements as needed. - Ensure cost-effective maintenance of material handling equipment and recommend replacements or additional equipment as required. - Ensure the smooth execution of all production purchase orders. - Provide oversight to the PC department in managing service parts. - Work with suppliers and customers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery. - Analyze production schedules, work orders, and other records to determine production requirements and evaluate current estimates and outputs. - Assist in the development of work instructions and training for PC team members. - Oversee inventory control, management, and accuracy. - Responsible for ordering production raw materials and supplies. - Comply and enforce occupational health and safety standards, as well as other relevant regulations. - Ensure scheduled maintenance, repairs, and optimum utilization of material handling machinery, equipment, and transportation vehicles. - Provide coverage for Production Supervisors when needed. - Oversee physical inventory planning, execution, and reconciliation. - Lead and coordinate inventory, cycle counting, and KPI tracking. - Execute PC projects and improvements as assigned. - Ensure availability of adequate packaging for parts and finished goods requirements. Requirements: - Completion of relevant post-secondary education required - 2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred. - Production Supervisor experience desired. - Knowledge of the Toyota production system. - Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse, and transportation management. - Strong knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of municipal, provincial, and federal regulations. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Positive knowledge of manufacturing systems, processes, and materials. - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. - Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization. - Strong customer service orientation. - First Aid skills and/or certificates are considered an asset. - Commitment to health and safety. Work Conditions: - Overtime may be required. - Flexibility to work both day and afternoon shift hours when needed. - Work in both office and plant floor environments. - Manufacturing environment.
