Medical Clinical Assistant (London)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Medical Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing essential support to medical practitioners by assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office/ family physician clinic settings, excellent patient care skills, and familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration. Responsibilities - Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures - Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are available and sterile - Collect patient vital signs, medical histories, and others. - Support patient care activities including wound dressing, injections, and specimen collection - Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and clinical notes - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols - Coordinate with other healthcare team members to facilitate smooth clinic operations Skills - Prior hospital or clinical experience preferred - Strong knowledge of patient care practices and procedures - Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately document and communicate clinical information - Ability to administer medications safely and effectively under supervision - Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and team members - Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and adherence to protocols - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care Pay: $17.20-$22.10 per hour Benefits - In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2orq3e
