Contribute to the Faculty of Information and Media Studies by teaching the course on Indigenizing and Decolonizing Library and Information Science. This in-person role requires expertise in LIS and effective engagement with students. The Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western is looking for qualified candidates to teach GRADLIS . Applicants should possess a PhD or be nearing completion, along with relevant qualified qualifications and university teaching experience. Key responsibilities include course development, examination marking, and student assessment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver course content effectively • Set and mark examinations for students • Assess academic work and report grades • Undertake required training and comply with policies • Engage with students in a meaningful way Requirements: • PhD or nearing completion in a relevant field • Master of Library and Information Science or equivalent • Proven record of successful university-level teaching • Fluent written and oral communication skills • Willingness to adapt to course delivery changes Bring your expertise in LIS to provide an impactful educational experience at Western.
