Relief Pharmacist (London)

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescription medication and clinical services accurately and promptly, ensuring adequate inventory levels and providing counseling to patients. The pharmacist maintains compliance with documentation and professional guidelines, engages in public relations to raise awareness, and resolves patient and doctor concerns effectively. What you'll do - Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients. - Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate and meet patients’ needs. - Provide counseling to patients in regard to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and pro‑active manner. - Create awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives such as public health days and clinics. - Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctor requests/issues. - Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary). - Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s). - Responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions and clinical services within scope of practice accurately and timely. What you’ll need - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license. - Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism. - Excellent leadership and performance‑management skills. - Proven ability to build the business using community‑based marketing strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem‑solving skills and experience formulating and executing action plans. - Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems.
