Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of mobile mechanical systems for heavy-duty applications

Provide technical leadership within the design team, balancing hands‑on design work with mentoring and team development

Support projects across the full design lifecycle, including:

Conceptual and detailed design

Quotation and technical proposal support

Scope and specification review and development

Project planning and scheduling

Shop and manufacturing support

Test plan development and commissioning support

Support quoting and estimating activities

Conduct structural and stress analyses

Investigate issues and implement corrective actions

Conduct and oversee design reviews

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver custom-engineered solutions in a non‑production environment

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Design Engineer

Bachelor's degree in an engineering‑related discipline

Experience with custom manufacturing and/or heavy equipment design

Understanding of mechanical systems and electrical integrations are assets
