Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help maintain equipment and utensils in positive working condition. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a protected working environment. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
