Position Summary The successful candidate will ensure that equipment meets or exceeds customer expectations in safety, quality, flexibility, and throughput. This role is responsible for establishing process parameters and procedural standards, while implementing controls to ensure compliance. Additionally, the position focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve long‑term cost reduction targets and sustain profitability. The scope includes all capital equipment and tooling supporting internal manufacturing operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Engineering Degree or Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; alternatively, a Certificate of Qualification in a related trade
Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing systems
Key Responsibilities
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Develop, monitor, and manage project timelines
Review and control tooling and capital expenditure budgets
Prepare and deliver presentations to engineering and leadership teams
Travel to customer and vendor sites to address quality concerns, tooling processes, and equipment buy‑offs
Manage projects end‑to‑end, from concept through completion
Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
Conduct cycle time studies and line balancing analysis
Prepare reports, charts, and documentation to support engineering projects and records
Participate in ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 activities, including PFMEA and APQP processes
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Support the development of material handling and logistics processes
Assist with training and implementation of new equipment and processes
Coordinate activities to ensure successful achievement of customer quality milestones
