This is a vacancy for a part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026, and ending December 19, 2026. Hours may vary based on program needs and employee availability.
Note:
This position is located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd, London, ON N5Y 5R6.
Note : There is a one-day mandatory staff training that takes place prior to the start of the semester.
Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager, the casual Paramedic Program Technologist will assist faculty and students in the paramedic labs with learning activities within the Paramedic program.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Sets-up and tears-down skill station or scenario Facilitates and debriefs medical and trauma simulations Evaluates student scenarios using the Global Rating Scale Ensures all health and safety control standards are met
What You’ll Bring
Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA) Certification required Certified in good standing with an aligned Ontario Base Hospital as a Paramedic Actively employed as a Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years of full-time equivalent experience working at the applicable certification level Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in an academic setting A strong commitment to student engagement and success Ability to multi-task and work independently Experience with medical equipment, simulation equipment, and laboratory preparation considered an assetMust be available to work 50% of exam day
