Promotion of professional decision-making, reflection, and pedagogical actions of educators across diverse learning contexts in contemporary times. Emphasizing theories of teaching, learning, and knowing, this course highlights conceptions of pedagogy, pedagogical strategies, and analysis of classroom curriculum.Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.

Candidates must be willing to undertake training as required by the Employer including, but not limited to, training in respect of health and safety, harassment and discrimination, and legislated service standards. Qualifications

Candidate must have a) a PhD in Education or an EdD, with an emphasis in curriculum or teaching and learning, b) demonstrated professional and or academic/research practice in the area of teaching and learning, and c) thorough knowledge of theories of teaching, learning, and knowing in K–12, professional programs and other learning environments. Desirable additional qualifications would include a good publication record, other demonstrable expertise in any curriculum field, curriculum leadership experience in schools or other learning environments, robust experience in teaching online, and documented success teaching at the graduate level.Affirmation Policy

Course offerings could be assigned to the workload of full-time faculty or to part-time faculty with seniority or preference rights in accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, or left unfilled based on operational/enrolment requirements.
