Company Description Tandem Physiotherapy & Wellness provides comprehensive physiotherapy and multidisciplinary services for a wide range of injuries, chronic conditions, and balance disorders. The clinic offers musculoskeletal rehabilitation, concussion care, vestibular rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, pediatric and pelvic health therapy. Clients receive individualized treatment plans designed to support recovery, improve function, and prevent future injury. The team emphasizes evidence-informed care, explicit communication, and collaborative treatment to help clients return to meaningful activities safely and eff ectively. **Role Description This is a full time on-site Physiotherapist Assistant role based in London, ON. The Physiotherapist Assistant will support registered physiotherapists by preparing treatment areas, organizing equipment, and assisting with the delivery of prescribed exercise programs and modalities under supervision. Responsibilities include guiding clients through exercises, monitoring their response to treatment, documenting relevant clinical information, and maintaining accurate, confidential records. The role also involves educating clients on home exercise programs as directed, reinforcing safety and proper technique, and helping to schedule appointments and manage patient flow. The Physiotherapist Assistant will contribute to a clean, safe, and inclusive clinical environment and collaborate with the broader care team to support high-quality client exp eriences. Qualifications Diploma in - Physiotherapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist Assistant from Canadian colleges is a must. - Knowledge of basic therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation techniques for musculoskeletal, sports, vestibular, concussion, and pelvic health populations. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues in a respectful, inclusive manner. - Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients, follow treatment plans accurately, and maintain clear documentation. - Physical ability to assist with client transfers, positioning, and equipment handling while adhering to safe body mechanics. - Comfort with basic clinic administration, including scheduling support, charting, and use of electronic medical record systems (or willingness to learn). - Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and capacity to follow clinical protocols and the supervising physiotherapist’s directions. - Previous experience in an outpatient physiotherapy or rehabilitation setting is an asset; experience with concussion, vestibular, or pelvic health clients is considered beneficial. - Current CPR/First Aid certification and any applicable regulatory or association memberships are considered an advantage.**** Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pipl8
