Posting Period Open: May 29 2026 Deadline: June 12 2026 Non-Union Department Name Dietitian-Children's Hospital - The Clinical Dietitian working at Children?s Hospital will support outpatients and inpatients in an interdisciplinary model of care. Dietitians are responsible for the nutritional assessment, treatment and development of evidence-based care plans for paediatric patients to ensure adequate feeding and growth. This role will support dysphagia care, as well as other clinical services as needed. This position reports to a Manager within Children's Hospital and is supported by Health Discipline Professional Practice. Regular Part-Time Rate of Pay: $49.27 per hour - $61.59 per hour Hours of Work: 22.50 hours per week Qualifications - Successful completion of a Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Food Science or related subject acceptable to the hospital - Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario required - Membership in Dietitians of Canada required - Recent related experience in paediatric gastroenterology preferred - Recent experience with nutrition support regimens preferred - Demonstrated skills in patient education and ability to support the advancement of dietetic practice-based research and knowledge - Ability to promote a high standard of professional practice by disseminating nutrition knowledge and information - Commitment to ongoing education and career development related to best practice in clinical nutrition - Proficient computer skills including word processing and data management software - Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care - Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC - Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values - Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis We kindly ask applicants to submit a PDF document that includes a cover letter and a list of relevant certifications.
