We are only looking for people with a valid D/D class license who can both drive and move furniture at this time. Maybe you've worked as a labourer or you've been at another moving company in London, Ontario. If you didn't like how their workload was inconsistent or how they wouldn't message you until 9PM the night before - or 7AM the day of with whether you'd be working... At Brawny Movers, we offer a better experience for both clients and staff. We run weekday (Mon-Fri) and weekend (Sat-Sun) crews. [We need more weekend staff and will require more staff for the Fall] You'll know your schedule in advance and we aim to balance out heavier moving days with delivery days. A typical week is 60-70% moving and 30-40% driving. You'll always feel confident knowing that your colleagues can handle their end of the furniture and we have better equipment so that moves run more efficiently. Many of our previous staff included highly motivated individuals that have competed professionally or have become respected professionals such as Doctors and Engineers. Pay starts at $19.76/hr + TIPS and quickly increases based on performance and responsibilities. Our goal is to have all staff earning at least $24/hr+4% vac (before tips) but that depends on your reliability, ability to drive a box truck, assemble furniture and move everything from boxes to pianos, safely and efficiently. Beneficial skills and traits: - attention to detail - expert Tetris skills - excellent customer service - sports or weight training background - furniture moving and furniture assembly experience A full G class or D class license and own transportation to either of our Central / East London locations is preferred.
