Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client in the food manufacturing industry! The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects from equipment installation to large-scale infrastructure expansion. Job Location: London, ON Job Type: Contract position of 12 months – with high possibility of extension! Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually DOE + boot allowance Shift Structure: Primarily day shift hours - must have some flexibility based on project needs Key Responsibilities Lead the full lifecycle execution of CAPEX projects, from initial planning through final delivery Develop, oversee, and control detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams to ensure seamless project alignment Manage vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers to secure reliable performance and competitive value Monitor project risks, resolve issues proactively, and maintain progress against key milestones Ensure strict adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases Provide explicit, timely progress updates and reporting to stakeholders to support informed decision‑making Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or Food Technology Engineering and/or related field experience. Must have at least 5 years of experience within the food manufacturing industry or equivalent Must have prior proven experience delivering CAPEX projects Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience with chocolate processing technology is considered a robust asset.
