Operational Leadership for Metro Supply Chain, London

Join Metro Supply Chain as the Director of Operations and leverage your expertise in logistics management. Focus on overseeing distribution centers within the Defence and Industrial sectors to drive operational excellence.

This strategic role reports directly to the VP of Operations, where you will manage customer relationships, lead performance audits, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with General Managers to develop solutions that support the company’s growth objectives while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:• Direct negotiations with prospective clients to finalize contracts • Lead strategic business reviews to track performance metrics • Implement continuous improvement initiatives across operations • Manage new business start-ups ensuring operational readiness • Cultivate positive employee relations through effective leadership

Requirements:• Minimum of five years in Senior Management roles • At least ten years in Operational Management within the sectors mentioned • Successful experience in launching start-ups • ISO certification/audit experience • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field
