POSITION DESCRIPTION: Located in Longueuil, the Jazz Longueuil residence, managed by Cogir, offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those experiencing mild loss of autonomy. We are currently seeking a Part-time position (temporary for the summer season), between 20 and 40 hours per week depending on needs, day and evening shifts from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., as well as weekends. Students welcome. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s) Greet clients and orient current residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort Perform other related duties Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: ~1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset ~ Good team player ~ Good communication ~ Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset BENEFITS: Free meals Free parking Uniform provided Sick days and time off for family obligations Employee Assistance Program Vacation Social leave Free coffee, tea and herbal tea Consistent schedule A welcoming and tight-knit team!
