POSITION DESCRIPTION: Résidence Le Clair Matin, by Cogir Real Estate, is looking for a colleague to join its dedicated team as a dining room server. Permanent part-time position, 18 hours every two weeks, days and evenings from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., as well as weekends. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure valuable teamwork Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s) Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation Perform other related duties Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Flexibility for the work schedule knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset) 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an key asset Experience in high-volume catering Knowledge of senior living residences is a major asset ADVANTAGES: Salary according to the collective agreement in force Free parking Uniform provided Referral Program Possibility of advancement Sick days and time off for family obligations Vacation Social Club activities, gifts and substantial discounts Human management approach A welcoming and tight-knit team!
