Role SummaryThe Electrical Project Manager leads the delivery of electrical construction projects from turnover through close‐out. The role supports clients, field teams, and internal partners to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and on budget. Success in this role means predictable project outcomes, strong financial performance, and consistent alignment with Up-to-date Niagara's standards and processes. Their leadership directly influences safety performance, client relationships, financial results, and repeat business.Key Impact / PurposeDeliver safe, on‐time, and on‐budget electrical projects using Up-to-date Niagara processesStrengthen client, field, and subcontractor relationships through clear communication and proactive issue resolutionDrive project performance by managing risk, cost, schedule, and quality outcomesSupport operational and financial goals through accurate forecasting and cost controlDuties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in estimating turnover and preconstruction meetings as requiredManage labour on assigned projects with direction from the Electrical Operations ManagerComplete monthly financial forecasts and attend Project Status Review (PSR) meetingsReview contracts to ensure scope alignment, productivity, quality, cost control, and schedule adherenceManage project budgets, labour, purchasing, administration, and cost controlCoordinate suppliers and subcontractors to support project deliveryPrice and manage change orders using the Accubid databaseParticipate in client and construction meetings and communicate requirements to internal teams and subcontractorsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and project partnersPromote Modern Niagara's services to support the full building lifecycleSupport QA/QC and health and safety standards on all projectsMaintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and industry engagementMust HavesPost‐secondary education in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSignificant project management experience within the construction industryAbility to obtain Government of Canada Secret Security ClearanceStrong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, and contract administrationAbility to interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specificationsExperience with project or construction management software (e.G., "Procore")Strong communication skills with the ability to build productive working relationships at all levelsAbility to work autonomously with travel to project sites as requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)General understanding of QA/QC and health and safety practicesAbility and willingness to work on‐site in Petawawa on a full‐time basis for project needsEligibility to obtain Government of Canada security clearance. This requirement is tied to project‐specific accessNice to HavesPrior field experience within the construction industryExperience mentoring or supporting the development of team membersExperience using Accubid for estimating or change managementCompensation & BenefitsThis is a new position.
