Retail property manager, Longueuil

Position Overview Commercial Property Manager , based at Place Longueuil, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

Manage vendor accounts, tenant billing, building‑related operating expenses, supplier invoicing and recurring payments.

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the buildings.

Manage critical equipment and infrastructure.

Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment.

Be accountable for building operations.

Provide excellent customer service.

Prepare and manage operating budgets, monthly analysis reports and service contracts.

Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment and buildings.

Build strong tenant‑manager relationships to support smooth operations.

Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing all requests.

Manage incidents, ensure compliance with company and industry standards and protocols, oversee safety and supervise building operations technicians.

Provide consulting services on projects, investment planning and budgeting related to building operations.

Ensure systems are maintained or upgraded according to industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or quickly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding service interruptions and losses.

Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications

Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s level), preferably in engineering, urban planning or architecture, or possess equivalent experience.

Have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a similar role.

Hold one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP or RPA.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong knowledge of Yardi software.

Familiar with a CMMS and have participated in its implementation.

Solid understanding of accounting and budgeting processes.
