Insight Global is seeking a Part-Time Quality Specialist to join a top aerospace company located in Longueuil, QC. The Quality Specialist will work within the Supply Management Quality group to enhance global quality performance for suppliers by reducing supplier escapes and OEM interventions through various initiatives. The role involves reviewing, understanding, and identifying issues impacting product quality and flow, and driving timely corrective actions and improvements.
Key responsibilities include synthesizing and analyzing data to pinpoint contributors and systemic issues causing product escapes and OEM interventions, following up on progress, addressing roadblocks, escalating issues, organizing and leading process walks at supplier facilities, driving process maturity, liaising with internal organizations for support, and establishing communications with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is part-time, with flexibility between 24-32 hours per week. Shifts are Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday. Weekend shifts may be worked remotely.
Required Skills and Experience
Technical degree and minimum 10 years experience or Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years experience.
Background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace, or Quality.
Experience with RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) in a quality setting.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience
Experience with PFMEA/DFMEA techniques and PPAP.
