Now Hiring: Technical Expert– Flight Control Laws Design&Analysis

We are looking for an experienced Technical Expert in Flight Control Laws to support advanced Fly-By-Wire aircraft programs and contribute to the design, development, validation, verification, and certification of complex flight control systems. This is an exciting chance for an aerospace engineering professional with deep expertise in Flight Control Laws, FBW aircraft, aircraft dynamics, control systems, MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and certification standards.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and improve new and existing Flight Control Laws and related assessment tools using MATLAB and C++ Support Flight Control Laws, autopilot, and navigation design development for R&D projects Develop system and control law requirements Perform requirements validation and verification for new or updated control law designs Verify and deliver Flight Control Laws in accordance with DO-178B and SAE ARP4754 Design pilot-in-the-loop control laws based on handling qualities, flight envelope protection, structural envelope protection, aircraft performance, and test pilot assessmentsEvaluate Flight Control Laws and Fly-By-Wire system failures using analytical methods, desktop simulations, simulator testing, and flight test data Support integration of control laws into test rigs and supplier hardware, including PFCC integration Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering PhD in Aerospace Engineering is preferred Minimum 10+ years of experience developing Flight Control Laws for Fly-By-Wire aircraft Strong understanding of aircraft flight dynamics and aerodynamics Experience with classical and modern control system design techniques for SISO and MIMO systemsStrong knowledge of aircraft stability, handling qualities, and pilot-in-the-loop control Experience with control law evaluation, linear and non-linear analysis, and testing procedures Good understanding of DO-178B, requirements verification and validation, and certification of complex software Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, MATLAB scripting, and C++Knowledge of state estimation or Kalman filtering is preferred Fluent in written and spoken English and French The ideal candidate is innovative, self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently in a highly technical aerospace environment.
