Project Manager (Risks)– Longueuil Pratt&Whitney Canada (P&W Canada) is a global leader in aerospace innovation, headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the development of risk maps and the update of evaluation matrices.

Collect, structure, and analyze financial and operational data related to investment projects.

Prepare analysis reports for decision‑making committees, including quantified recommendations.

Monitor investment performance indicators (ROI, NPV, IRR).

Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to document risks and mitigation plans.

Contribute to internal audits and regulatory compliance reviews.

Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.

Qualifications and Experience

University degree in Engineering, Project Management, Administration or a related field.

Significant experience (10–15 years) in operational and strategic risk management within complex manufacturing organizations, preferably in aerospace or large multinational companies.

Demonstrated experience in evaluating and mitigating risks that directly impact global operations, supply chain, and manufacturing capabilities.

Strong influencing leadership: proven ability to gain buy‑in from technical experts and present complex recommendations to senior management.

Action‑oriented profile: proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and mobilize interdepartmental teams to implement mitigation plans.

Judgment, autonomy, sense of priorities, and comfort in ambiguous, changing environments.

Certification in enterprise risk management (e.g., CRM– Certified Risk Manager) (asset).

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) (asset).

Employment Conditions

The role is part of a French‑speaking workplace and requires a basic knowledge of English to understand technical instructions, drawings, and terms that may originate from international organizations.

Selected candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain all necessary clearances related to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of these checks and clearances.
