Internship Overview
Internship dates: August 31st to December 18th, 2026. Location: Longueuil, Quebec. Internship from Monday to Friday, flexible hours, exclusively on-site. Job Expectations
The candidate will support the customer engineer on a day-to-day basis and work on preparing the entry into service of new engine programs. This role includes various interactions across the organization. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage line maintenance and overhaul tools needed for entry into service of new engine programs. Track tooling cost and budget allocated. Maintain tool list, design&make status with revisions. Validate new tooling and document tool revisions. Support customer engineer with documentation of Engine Maintenance Manual Validation instructions. Track EMM Data Module to be validated as they are released in the EMM Preliminary. Support customer engineer with engine request for tests needed to define workscope instruction for the Maintenance Manual Instruction (e.g., Rotor Blend Repairs, Compressor Wash, Engine preservation, etc.).Observation of pilots, line replaceable items, number of parts replaced, progression of data modules in technical publications, software error codes observed during development. Assist with data mining in PowerBI and Excel macros. Qualifications
Eligible to work in Canada. Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship. Can work on-site in the province where hired if applicable. Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Desired Assets
Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities. Project management skills. Additional Notes
Selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances.
