Reporting to the manager of the projects management office and continuous improvement for operations logistics, the incumbent will provide support to projects focused on improving the operational efficiency of a complex, just‑in‑time worldwide supply chain network and support daily logistics operations.Project application areas

Customs logistics Distribution logistics (internal and external) Packaging Materials Engineering Logistics infrastructure improvement Warehousing logistics and inventory control Day‑to‑day responsibilities

Take charge of and autonomously complete projects of different sizes that have direct impacts on our logistics operations and the optimization of our business processes. Support project managers in the execution of specific tasks of ongoing projects such as collection of requirements and technical data, impact and cost‑effectiveness analyses, and production of action plans and meeting reports.Communicate project progress and follow specific project tasks and actions. Participate in and take responsibility for implementing new performance indicators. Participate in optimizing material transfer across our various sites. Support the deployment of the new continuous improvement operating system ("Core," Lean/Six‑sigma equivalent).Perform day‑to‑day operations support tasks. Qualifications

Eligible to work in Canada. Enrolled in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship. Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, logistics, supply chain, business intelligence, or an equivalent field. Experience managing industrial logistics projects with tangible deliverables.Ability to work under pressure. Flexible to adjust priorities based on client needs. Ability to work effectively with different departments. Demonstrates strong leadership and customer focus. Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to problem‑solving. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of SAP/ERP, Power BI, and Access. Availability to work on‑site in the province where hired, if applicable. Good knowledge of the French language, both written and spoken. Assets

Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with competing and changing priorities. Certification in project management or continuous improvement. Knowledge of the aeronautics industry. The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances.
