As a

Technology Solutions Architecture Advisor , you will play a key role in the integration and industrialization of

artificial intelligence, generative AI and data science capabilities

within the

Individual Insurance

business lines. You will leverage your expertise to support business and technology teams in designing robust, secure solutions aligned with iA Financial Group’s architectural targets.

What you will accomplish with us As a

Technology Solutions Architecture Advisor , you will be a reference in AI architecture and a key partner to business and delivery teams. Your main responsibilities will include:

Translating business and technology needs into

end to end architecture solutions , covering functional, non functional, technological and organizational dimensions;

Designing and actively contributing to the implementation of

artificial intelligence and generative AI solutions , including

RAG architectures ,

LLM model orchestration , and integration with existing application ecosystems;

Supporting teams in the implementation of AI capabilities across platforms such as

Snowflake, Salesforce, GitHub Copilot , and cloud environments;

Participating in detailed designs, code reviews and key technology decisions, with direct contributions to

POVs, MVPs and prototypes ;

Providing leadership during solution reviews and ensuring architecture decisions are aligned with enterprise frameworks and standards;

Contributing to the

Individual Insurance AI roadmap

by prioritizing deliverable, scalable and value driven use cases;

Ensuring the

quality, consistency and integrity of solutions , from design through end to end delivery;

Acting as a

hands on technical reference

for the adoption of AI augmented development tools, including GitHub Copilot;

Coaching and mentoring architects and developers through pairing, code reviews and the sharing of best practices;

Contributing to the development and evolution of

AI standards, patterns and practices , including security, privacy, governance and responsible AI considerations;

Maintaining active

technology watch activities

and practically evaluating emerging technologies prior to adoption.

What could accelerate your success in this role We are looking for someone who:

Holds a

bachelor’s degree

in computer science, software engineering, data science or a related field;

Has

12 years or more of experience in information technology , including

7 years or more in solution architecture

within complex environments;

Demonstrates significant experience in the

design and production deployment of AI and ML solutions , ideally in a regulated environment such as insurance or financial services;

Has strong expertise in

GenAI and agent based architectures , including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases and multi agent orchestration;

Has an excellent understanding of

modern data platforms

such as Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery;

Is comfortable working in

cloud environments

(Azure, AWS or GCP) and cloud native architectures;

Demonstrates strong knowledge of

MLOps, LLMOps, data governance and model production deployment ;

Is recognized for the ability to connect

business challenges with technology and architecture decisions ;

Shows influential leadership, strong results orientation and a high tolerance for ambiguity;

Demonstrates excellent communication skills with both technical and executive audiences;

Has experience in the insurance or financial services industry, which is considered an asset.

Intermediate level of English proficiency is required , as the role involves daily conversations with unilingual English speaking colleagues and partners, as well as reading, understanding and drafting business documentation such as deliverables, presentations and written communications. These interactions will notably take place with subsidiaries located in the United States and Canada, in the context of projects, workshops and day to day business activities.
