What This Role Is (and Isn’t) This is not traditional house cleaning. This is hospitality-focused turnover work, where timing, detail, and consistency matter just as much as cleanliness. Each property must be reset to a standard that meets guest expectations every single stay.Responsibilities Complete short-term rental turnovers between guest stays Clean and reset homes to consistent, guest-ready standards Follow detailed checklists and property-specific instructions Change linens, restock supplies, and stage spaces appropriately Identify and communicate damages, missing items, or maintenance needsEnsure the home is fully prepared for the next guest arrival What a 5-Star Clean Looks Like Every surface cleaned no missed details Bathrooms and kitchens cleaned to hotel-level sanitation standards Floors, corners, baseboards, and high-touch areas addressed Beds and linens presented neatly and consistentlyThe space feels intentional, fresh, and ready not just clean enough Who This Is For We’re looking for individuals who: Have hands-on cleaning experience (residential, STR, commercial, or deep cleaning) Take pride in delivering high-quality, detailed work Can work independently without supervisionAre reliable, punctual, and consistent Communicate clearly and follow through on commitments Understand that reliability is just as important as skill Requirements Prior cleaning experience (STR or hospitality experience strongly preferred) Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background checkAvailability during turnover windows (late morning afternoon, weekends required) Ability to begin within a reasonable timeframe Must operate as an independent contractor (1099) Preferred Qualifications Experience with short-term rental workflows or platforms (e.g., Breezeway or similar tools)Already insured as an individual cleaner or business Established cleaning systems, supplies, and equipment Supplies&Equipment Contractors are expected to provide their own cleaning supplies and tools. Strong candidates already have a consistent kit and workflow they bring to every job.
