ECE Teacher (Maple Ridge)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering student development, and delivering engaging instruction across various age groups. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a strong commitment to supporting children's educational and emotional growth. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly valued, especially for working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs or disabilities. Responsibilities - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards - Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents - Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements - Utilize computer skills and classroom technology effectively to enhance learning experiences - Maintain organized records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support student development and address individual needs - Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective communication - Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices Experience - Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred - Classroom experience demonstrating effective teaching strategies and classroom management skills - Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is a plus - Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for engaging students, parents, and colleagues - Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic classroom setting - Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and foster a collaborative learning environment - Familiarity with computer operation, educational software, and digital teaching tools is preferred This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a supportive educational workplace committed to excellence.
