Landscape Gardener (Maple Ridge)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other green spaces are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. Duties - Maintain and care for gardens, lawns, crops and flower beds through regular pruning, trimming, weeding, and planting. - Operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes for various landscaping tasks. - Use power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers to perform landscape maintenance efficiently. - Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed to promote healthy plant growth while adhering to safety guidelines. - Design and implement landscape projects based on company requirements. - Monitor plant health and diagnose issues related to pests or diseases; recommend appropriate treatments. - Assist in the planning and execution of seasonal planting schedules and landscape renovations. Requirements - Prior experience with landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred. - Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is highly desirable. - Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care, soil management, and irrigation systems is a plus. - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. - Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods. - Attention to detail with a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. - Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to and from work. - Join our team as a Landscape Gardener to help create vibrant outdoor environments for our guests to enjoy year round.
