Northview is a part of an integrated Forestry group of companies. The group of companies is involved in all aspects of the Forestry business from logging to saw milling and sales. Northview has been in business since 1968 Job Description The Role: In this role you will: · Ensure safety standards are met · Develop strong working relationships with your peers · Maintain and repair a variety of mobile equipment & brands such as: · Cat and John Deer wheel loaders · Letourneau Log loaders · Linde & Hyundai forklifts · Boom Boats The Candidate: You are an excellent trouble-shooter who has well-developed technical skills along with a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certificate, a strong background in safe work practices, good record keeping, self-driven with a strong work ethic. · Certified Journeyman · Experience with hydraulics and welding · Superior troubleshooting skills · Robust analytical skills · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner · Ability to work independently and in a team setting · Solid background in heavy duty machinery.
